Traditional Okinawan Karate

We teach the Matsubayashi system of Shorin-ryu karate-do, or Shorinryu Karate for short. Created by Shoshin Nagamine, it is a highly developed, precise and exacting distillation of the unique unarmed fighting art of Okinawa.  It offers a practical method of self defense and a path for constant improvement: physically, mentally, and socially. Our dojo is registered and an active participant in the World Matsubayashi-Ryu (Shorin-Ryu) Karate-Do Association.
